Who We Are

The Center for Research in Tropical Medicine and Community Development (CRTMCD) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) established and registered in 2016. Our principal mandate is to design and implement public health programs and research studies that benefit vulnerable, marginalized, and excluded populations while leveraging community strengths for sustainable outcomes.

Our Mandates

  • To carry out research in human health.
  • To cooperate with other research organizations and institutions of higher learning on relevant research and training.
  • To liaise with other relevant bodies within and outside Kenya carrying out research and related activities.
